Version History More reliable sync. If part of a sync fails, the songs and setlists that did not make it to the cloud are now retried next time instead of being skipped, and an expired login asks you to sign in again instead of failing silently.

Clearer offline handling. Syncing or switching accounts without a connection shows one clear message, and your changes upload once you are back online.

Switching between accounts. Each account remembers its own login and sync progress, and the app offers to sync unsaved changes before you switch. Usernames are no longer case sensitive when you sign in.

New: Email your database and sync log to support. If something is not syncing the way you expect, open Help and tap "Email database & sync log to support" so we can see exactly what happened. The sync log stays on your device and never includes your lyrics.

The Help page now shows a Retry button instead of a blank screen when it cannot load.

Heads-up for iOS 13 and 14: future updates will require iOS 15 or later. The version you have keeps working, and every device that runs iOS 13 or 14 can update to iOS 15 for free in Settings, General, Software Update. 3.39 Oct 7 Bigger, easier-to-read song and setlist lists. The list text now matches the size used on Android, so titles and artist names are easier to read at a glance on stage.
Prefer the old smaller text? There is a new Extra Small option under Settings, List Size, that restores the previous sizes.
Fixed a crash that could happen while updating your Dropbox files.
Word documents can be selected again when attaching a file to a song. 3.38 Sep 17 - You can now add songs from your Song Catalog to a setlist on iPhone. Look for the new music note button at the top of your setlist. No need to re-enter songs you already have.
- Fixed a crash that could happen when swiping to another song while the page was still turning from a pedal press or auto advance.
- Other small improvements to the Add to Setlist menu. 3.37 Aug 13 - Auto-scroll half speeds. The plus and minus buttons now adjust the
scroll speed in half steps, so you can fine tune between speeds,
for example 7.5.
- Fixed the key shown in the lyric header not transposing when the
key tag had a space after the colon, for example {key: Em}.
- Fixed a crash that could happen when turning pages with a
Bluetooth pedal while a page swipe was still in progress.
- Fixed syncing on devices set to the Thai (Buddhist) calendar.
Dates now sync correctly, so edits made on the website are no
longer lost on those devices.
- Fixed a crash when viewing songs by tag if a song had been deleted.
- Reduced memory use while downloading lyrics for offline use during

- Offline lyrics: after a sync, all of your song lyrics are saved on your
device, so they are ready to view even without an internet connection.
- Fixed a crash that could occur while quickly turning pages in the lyrics
view.

- Much faster sync. Only songs that changed since your last sync are downloaded, and bulk edits upload in batches. Large libraries that took minutes now sync in seconds.
- Sync now tells you if anything failed instead of reporting success, and a freeze at the end of sync has been fixed.
- Log in with your email address or username.
- Song pickers now sort songs alphabetically within each letter section.
- Fixed a crash when connecting AirTurn pedals.

Sync engine reliability
- Rewrote the cloud sync engine to eliminate background-thread
crashes that could occur while uploading songs, setlists, and
tags. Sync is now safe even if you switch accounts or sign out
while a sync is in progress.
- Tapping Sync twice in quick succession, or trying to log out
while a sync is running, is now blocked at the UI so it cannot
put the app in a bad state.
- Cancelling a sync now cleanly stops in-flight uploads instead
of letting them finish in the background.

Lyric search is faster
- When searching for lyrics, the app now extracts the lyric text
as soon as it appears on the page instead of waiting for ads,
trackers, and slow scripts to finish loading. On ad-heavy lyric
sites this can be 5 to 20 seconds faster.

iPad polish and crash fixes
- Fixed a crash that could occur on iPad when tapping a Home
screen tile shortly after navigating back from a lyric.
- Fixed the back button label "Home" showing instead of the
expected "Tags" arrow when leaving the Tag Songs screen on
iOS 18.
- Added an extra safety net for a rare iPad split-view layout
crash that could occur while the app was being snapshotted in
the background.
- Several smaller stability fixes for low-memory iPads,
including guards in the PDF viewer, the metronome, and the
Setlist Songs list.

Stay where you left off
- Song lists, setlists, tag lists, and artist/genre lists now remember your scroll position when you switch apps and come back.
- Lyric view remembers your scroll position too, even when the lyric is zoomed.
- The top toolbar no longer disappears on song and lyric screens after rotating or collapsing the split view on iPad.
- On iPad, the sidebar stays closed when you return from another app.

Audio playback
- The audio player now starts more reliably and the toolbar no longer gets stuck "playing" when a track can't load.

Crash fixes
- Fixed a crash when sharing a ChordPro file from a song with no audio path.

Sync Engine Improvements

Bug Fixes:

- Fixed a crash on iOS 18 when launching the app on iPad. The app could crash during startup when setting up the main menu due to a change in how iOS 18 handles
the split view controller hierarchy.
- Fixed a crash when adding songs to a setlist from the catalog. Renumbering setlist songs could cause an inconsistency between the table view and the data
source, resulting in a crash.
- Fixed a crash when switching user accounts. The Core Data stack reset could fail when reassigning the database context to the main view controller on iOS 18.
- Improved stability of table view updates. If an internal inconsistency is detected during a batch update, the app now gracefully reloads the table instead of
crashing.

Register, Purchase, and Lyric Search screens have all been redesigned with a clean card-style layout.

Improved iPad Experience
The iPad now uses a modern sidebar layout with better split-view navigation. Menus and toolbars are
consistent across iPhone and iPad.

Configurable Toolbar
The performance view toolbar is now customizable. Choose which buttons to show — Auto Scroll, Play
Audio, Metronome, Transpose, and View Scale — from the context menu. The play/stop button is always
available.

Better Lyric Display
Song-of-highlight sections now support multiline highlights with a configurable highlight color. View
Scale uses improved font scaling for sharper text. Breaks display correctly in performance view
without overlapping content.

Improved Sync
Fixed issues with the sync engine that could cause empty setlists after syncing. The Sync screen has a
new landing page with a streamlined login flow. Per-user database switching keeps your data separate
when multiple accounts share a device.

Fixed Lyric Import
Importing lyrics now correctly handles song ordering, {audio:} tags, and audio file attachments. File
Sharing has been polished for easier use.

Key & Time Signature Pickers
Songs now have dedicated pickers for key and time signature, making it easier to enter and update song
details.

Crash Fixes
Fixed crashes when adding songs, setlists, or tags to empty lists, when deleting tags, and when
dragging breaks in setlists. Added bounds checking throughout to prevent unexpected crashes.
